Details/Requirements: --Rotate weekend night and weekend on-call with other physicians (typically two) for the adult unit. --On-call weekend physician required to do rounds on Saturday and Sunday in each program, which typically takes approximately 1 to 2 hours at the Adult CSU. --Rounds, Evaluations, Medications --24/7 program serves adults ages 18 and older who are in need of detoxification and/or behavioral health crisis stabilization services. --24 bed, short-term stay (typically 5 to 7 days) facility. --Patients in this program are typically referred via the behavioral health link (BHL) board, a direct referral from an emergency room facility, or an OTA (order to apprehend) from local authorities. --The healthcare team in this program consists of a Nurse Manager, Physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Health Technicians, Health Technician Supervisor, Licensed Counselor, Case Managers, and Safety Officers. --Upon admission of a new patient, there is a nursing assessment and a physician assessment that is required within 24 hours. --The healthcare team meets Monday through Friday each morning to review each patient s status and determine appropriate next steps in recovery and treatment plan.
