Factory Motor Parts is looking for a User Support Specialist to join the fast paced IT team at our corporate office in Eagan, MN. Qualified candidates must have strong customer service skills and be able to successfully troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service and support issues across the organization.

Additionally the User Support Specialist will:

  • Provide primary technical support to Factory Motor Parts employees and respond to requests via telephone, email, remote access, and in-person.
  • Using established support guidelines and polices, ensure proper prioritization and escalation of incidents that are unresolvable to appropriate colleagues.
  • Team-up with other I.T. staff to provide timely resolutions to end-user needs.
  • Occasionally travel to company locations to provide assistance in urgent situations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • 1-3 years in a customer service, help desk, or other technical support role in a fast pace environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated follow through.
  • Ability to understand, research, and report on problems, and work with various products and vendors to offer the most appropriate solution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, clearly communicating complicated concepts over the phone, in person, and in writing.
  • Ability to work in highly dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to accommodate after-hours and on-call weekend shifts per the department rotation schedule.
